Michael Olise vs Alejandro Grimaldo

Bayern signed an exciting attacking talent in Michael Olise during the summer transfer window. It was a hefty fee for the 22-year-old forward, who endured a difficult time with injuries last season. However, the first four matchdays of the Bundesliga have shown Die Roten were right to spend big on Olise.

The French forward has enjoyed a fine start to life in Munich. Olise already has five goals and two assists across all competitions for Bayern. His performances have gradually improved with every game. The French international was in scintillating form against Werder Bremen last weekend.

Olise will come up against Alejandro Grimaldo on the right flank when Bayern host Bayer Leverkusen. The Spaniard operates as a left wingback under Xabi Alonso. Grimaldo is known for the creativity he offers in the final third. Alongside creating chances in the final third, Olise will have to defend well and support his right-back to nullify the threat of Grimaldo higher up the pitch.

Grimaldo can leave a lot of space behind him while committing to join the attack, which will open opportunities for Olise to make a difference in the final third. It will be a fascinating battle to watch on Saturday that can have a big say on the outcome of the game.
