Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen: Combined XI

GK: Manuel Neuer - This one was a fairly easy choice, as Neuer remains one of the best goalkeepers in the world even at the age of 38. He gets the nod ahead of Leverkusen's Lukas Hradecky.

RB: Jeremie Frimpong - Leverkusen star Frimpong gets our vote here. The Dutchman played a pivotal role in his side's run to the Bundesliga title last season, and has made a strong start to the current campaign as well. His ability to carry the ball forward and contribute in attack makes him one of the top right-backs in football.

CB: Jonathan Tah - The Germany international had the best season of his career as he led Leverkusen to the title. He almost joined Bayern Munich in the summer, and will hope to keep their star-studded attack at bay this weekend.

CB: Dayot Upamecano - Both Bayern and Leverkusen have struggled defensively in recent weeks. But when on his game, Upamecano is one of the most reliable and solid center-backs in the Bundesliga. That is why he gets our vote ahead of Edmond Tapsoba and Kim Min-jae.

LB: Alejandro Grimaldo - Both teams have excellent options at left-back, but Grimaldo's incredible attacking contributions and pinpoint precision helps him get the nod over Raphael Guerreiro and Alphonso Davies.
