Raphael Guerreiro
With both Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry unavailable due to injury, Raphael Guerreiro put in a fine shift on the left flank. His cross to set up Kimmich for the match-winning goal was a display of perfection. The Portuguese international showed great composure as he collected the ball near the left touchline before whipping in a cross with pace and precision for Kimmich to nod home.
Guerreiro’s performance was key to executing Bayern’s team tactics. With Noussair Mazraoui having to fill in at left back for the suspended Alponso Davies, Guerreiro also helped Mazraoui to contain Bukayo Saka for most of the game. The Portuguese defender has shown great tactical flexibility throughout the season to help Bayern win games. It was no different on Wednesday night.
