Harry Kane

Harry Kane kept the Arsenal defence busy throughout the evening. Even though the England captain managed just 34 touches throughout the game, his movement opened up spaces for his teammates. His passing from deep helped Bayern to play effectively on the counter-attack. The manner in which he calmly dispatched the penalty to put Bayern ahead inspired confidence throughout the team.

Kane won seven of thirteen ground duels and three of five in the air. At times he also tracked back well to help out in defence. With Bayern managing just 40% possession, the English striker gave an excellent all-round performance. And he will have to do so again next week if Bayern are to progress to the semifinals.
