Serge Gnabry

Much like Goretzka, another player who has taken quite a bit of stick this season is Serge Gnabry. Since making his return to action following a slew of injuries, Gnabry hasn’t managed a full 90 minutes during the Rückrunde. However, he has been scoring regularly in limited minutes since his return.

Against his old team, playing on the left wing, it was no different as he showed a striker’s instinct to sprint into the space vacated by Harry Kane and score Bayern’s aforementioned equalizer. Gnabry isn’t yet back to 100%, but he put in a commendable 70 minutes at the Emirates. Hopefully, his injury is not a serious one, and we get to see him back in action before long.
