Harry Kane
Harry Kane is the first name on the list without a shadow of a doubt. The England international took to the Bundesliga like a duck to water. Kane has been the best striker in Europe while playing for Bayern this season. He has scored 21 goals and provided five assists in 15 Bundesliga games this season.
In terms of his numbers across all competitions, Kane has scored 25 goals and provided eight assists. The English striker has quickly adapted to a new league, country, and teammates. He has adequately filled the void left by Robert Lewandowski. Kane is also a much better player while dropping deep compared to the Polish striker.
Along with excelling on the pitch, Harry Kane is also a leader in the squad. The Bavarian club is already thinking about him adding to the leadership group. Mathys Tel has also spoken glowingly about Kane as a mentor. Few eyebrows were raised when Bayern wanted to break their transfer record to buy a 30-year-old striker. Kane has brilliantly silenced those doubters and quickly become a fan-favourite amongst the Bavarian faithful.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker is on course to beat Robert Lewandowski’s record for most goals in a single Bundesliga campaign. If Kane manages to show similar consistency in Ruckrunde, Bayern could well end up retaining the Bundesliga and bring the Champions League back to the Allianz Arena.
