3. Gerd Müller (34 goals)
From one Muller to the next, this list is full of Bayern Munich royalty.
Gerd Müller scored some incredible goals in his time. So much so, his involvements have landed him a phenomenal third place in the all-time Champions League scoring list. He scored a hefty 34 goals during his time with Bayern Munich over the course of the 1960s and 70s.
The Champions League was known as the European Cup during his time but it should have been called the Gerd Müller cup, since he won it three years in a row with the Bavarian giants. Impressively, he was also the top scorer in the competition across four different years - 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1977.
Gerd Müller is a true example of a Bayern Munich legend and he should be used as a case study for strikers today. Time will tell if he is ever dethroned from the bronze podium in this list of phenomenal attackers.
