Thomas Tuchel proves his critics wrong

Thomas Tuchel has been heavily criticized this season, and rightly so. Bayern have struggled in the Bundesliga under him. The Bavarian club decided to part ways with him at the end of the season. Die Roten’s form in the Bundesliga has been poor since the club announced Tuchel’s departure. Several pundits in Germany have insisted that the dressing room is no longer responding to Tuchel after the club announced their decision to part ways with him.

Tuchel managed to shut down all critics on Tuesday by delivering a tactical masterclass against Arsenal. He made sure Arsenal didn’t create clear-cut chances in the first half. The German coach made sure Bayern were braver in the second half and killed the tie. Players responded to his system and game plan, highlighting how good a coach he is despite his disappointing tenure in Munich. Tuchel will look to end his tenure on a high by winning the Champions League title with Bayern.
