Bayern Munich welcomed Jamal Musiala back in training last week as the German contingent from the squad returned from their holidays. Musiala impressed for the most part at the Euros, despite being played out of position on the right by his former manager Julian Nagelsmann. The young attacking midfielder shone for Germany in the Euro 2024, making him the best Bayern Munich player in the tournament.

After completing the fitness tests in Munich, Musiala travelled with the squad to South Korea. The Bavarian club is visiting Asia in pre-season for the second year in a row.

As part of the tour, Musiala sat down with the media this week for a candid interview. The German attacking midfielder spoke on various topics including the areas for improvement in his game. In this interview (via AZ), Musiala admitted that he wants to contribute heavily in the final third.

"I always want to improve, score more goals and provide more assists. And we want to win titles again after last season."

The young attacking midfielder also insisted that the atmosphere in the dressing room is exciting as all players are motivated to compete for trophies next season. Bayern will look to bring the Bundesliga title back to Allianz Arena after finishing third last season. Musiala will be big part of Vincent Kompany's plans to bring silverware back to Munich.

Musiala's versatility will also be a big asset for Vincent Kompany. As Florian Wirtz dropped out of the German team for the knockout stages, Musiala moved to the left, with Bayern team-mate Leroy Sane on the right. The 21-year old showed his class with an excellent finish against Denmark, proving that he is a more natural fit on the left (than right) even if he is a number 10 by trade.

It is a huge season for Musiala, and the rest of the Bayern team, if they want to bring the Bundesliga title back to Bavaria. It will be exciting to see how he links up with fellow former Chelsea youth player Michael Olise at Bayern next season.
