Bayern Munich- September Power Rankings
Middlers
Kim Min-jae- The South Korean defender has looked solid throughout the month, helping Bayern to become defensively less suspect.
Dayot Upamecano- Bayern are slowly smothering the opposition by maintaining a high line of defense. Upamecano has done well in September, but he needs to show consistency over the season to silence his critics.
Alphonso Davies- The Canadian full-back has picked up form after the international break. Still has a long way to go in terms of showing his best.
Raphael Guerreiro- The Portuguese defender has done well in different roles under Vincent Kompany. Guerreiro largely played as a right-back in September and did a fairly reasonable job. He was on the scoresheet against Dinamo Zagreb.
Aleksandar Pavlović- The 20-year-old midfielder continues to get better with more game time. Pavlović scored a decisive equalizer against Bayer Leverkusen, but the most impressive part has been the consistency with which he dropped 7/10 performance every game in September.
Thomas Müller- Remains a crucial player for Bayern from the bench. Chipped in with a goal and assist during September.
Kingsley Coman- Unlike other forwards, Kingsley Coman is yet to show more productivity in the final third. He had a quiet September, managing one assist in five games.
Serge Gnabry- Continues to repay the faith shown by Kompany. Gnabry is not nailed on as the first-choice starter, as Kompany continues to switch between him and Coman. However, Gnabry is making a good case to get more playing time, as he contributed with one goal and two assists in September.
Sven Ulreich- Deputized well when Neuer was injured.
Manuel Neuer- Missed a game due to a minor injury. Neuer has been good, nothing spectacular, which is good news for Bayern as they concede fewer chances.
