Bayern Munich- September Power Rankings
Bayern Munich have been in fine form this season. Barring the 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, Bayern have won all games across all competitions. They were unfortunate not to come away with a win against Bayer Leverkusen as they delivered a dominant display.
Courtesy of an unbeaten start to the season in the Bundesliga after five matchdays, Bayern remain top of the Bundesliga table. They have a slender lead of a point over second-placed Eintracht Frankfurt. Die Roten have been a free-scoring team in the Bundesliga, scoring 17 goals in five games.
Bayern also enjoyed a fine start to their Champions League campaign in September. They hammered nine goals past Dinamo Zagreb at Allianz Arena on matchday one, becoming the first team to score nine goals in a single Champions League game. Die Roten conceded two goals in this game, but the overall performance was largely excellent.
