Bayern Munich rule out further signings of transfer deadline day

Bayern Munich will not be making any new signings on transfer deadline day despite being linked with a host of players in recent weeks.
After a busy summer transfer window that saw Bayern Munich make three new signings, the club is set for a quiet deadline day. Max Eberl has revealed that they have decided against further bolstering their squad on the final day of the transfer window.
Max Eberl on Bayern Munich's transfer deadline day plans
When asked about Bayern Munich's plans for transfer deadline day during the pre-match press conference on Friday, this is what Eberl had to say.
"We will not sign any more players. If anything, maybe there will be another departure. We're very happy with the squad we have. Of course there are considerations, but we're extremely happy with the squad."
Players could yet leave Bayern Munich before the transfer window closes, with Kingsley Coman being heavily linked with the likes of Al Hilal, Arsenal, and FC Barcelona. The winger is free to leave Bayern, and an agreement on the transfer fee has already been reached with the Saudi Pro League club. Youngster Gabriel Vidović is also being linked with a move to Mainz 05 on loan.
With Bayern Munich not making any further signings, it ends their chase to sign Jonathan Tah. The Bayer Leverkusen centre-back has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern all summer long. But an agreement could not be reached with the reigning Bundesliga champions, and it seems that the Germany international will now stay on at his club.
