The week before October's international break has been disappointing for Bayern Munich. After dropping two points against Bayer Leverkusen and losing against Aston Villa in the Champions League, Bayern conceded a late equaliser against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.

Bayern largely dominated against Frankfurt, creating a flurry of chances but never buried the hosts. The home side was super-efficient with their chances, creating problems despite having less possession. The visitors struggled for concentration and coordination in defense to keep Frankfurt at bay. Die Roten should be bitterly disappointed not to come away with all three points after scoring three goals against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Despite dropping points in Frankfurt, Bayern remain top of the points table due to a superior goal difference than RB Leipzig. Both teams are tied at 14 points after six games. Before we turn our attention to the international break, let us look at how Bayern players fared against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Manuel Neuer- 6/10

Neuer had a torrid outing in Eintracht Frankfurt after making a mistake against Aston Villa on Wednesday. The three goals conceded on Sunday were not howlers, but considering the quality of Neuer, he should have done better and saved at least Frankfurt’s third goal.
