Jamal Musiala

For most of the match, the Danish defence managed to keep Jamal Musiala fairly quiet. Despite registering just 48 touches in 81 minutes of play, the 21-year-old attacker never backed down and did his fair share of work out of possession, as reflected with his 13 attempted ground duels.

Despite all the close attention from the Danes, in the 68th minute, Musiala was able to find enough space to get on the end of a long ball and produce a wonderful right-footed finish from the left side of box into the opposite corner of the goal to make it 2-0.

With that goal, Musiala became the tournament’s joint top scorer with three goals. What a European Championship the Bayern Munich youngster is having! The Bavarians must move quickly to tie him down to a new contract before the Premier League vultures come circling.
