Second-half goals from Raphael Guerreiro and Thomas Müller helped Bayern Munich return to winning ways as they defeated FC Köln 2-0 at the Allianz Arena.
It certainly wasn't a vintage Bayern Munich performance, but the Bavarians got the three points in the bag against a resilient FC Köln side. A spectacular curling effort from Raphael Guerreiro helped Bayern take the lead, before Thomas Müller made sure of the three points on the back of some excellent pressing in the closing stages.
Bayern Munich were without a number of key players, while head coach Thomas Tuchel also missed the game through suspension. The Bayern defence also had to deal with a number of defensive scares, with the Billy Goats looking to fight tooth and nail to avoid relegation.
But in the end, Bayern's incisiveness in front of goal helped them claim the three points. Here are our player ratings from Bayern Munich's 2-0 win over FC Köln.
Sven Ulreich (7/10)
Ulreich did a fantastic job of filling in for the rested Manuel Neuer and made a number of vital saves to help Bayern claim the three points. His save to keep out Sargis Adamyan's header in the first-half was absolutely top drawer, and it was a well deserved clean-sheet for him in the end.
