Bayern Munich are not having the best time this season as more and more fans are growing uncomfortable with Thomas Tuchel as the head coach. Therefore, it's no surprise that the board are on their last straw too, which could ultimately result in the club competing with Liverpool for a new manager.

This is because Liverpool are also on the lookout for a new manager and with the managerial market dry at the best of times, both teams need to act quick if they want to secure the best possible manager.

During his incredible playing career, Xabi Alonso represented both Liverpool and Bayern Munich. Admittedly, he is more known for his time with Liverpool but the Bavarian giants did get a great spell out of the Spaniard towards the end of his career.

Of course, Xabi Alonso is the manager of Bayer Leverkusen and he is doing incredible things. Leverkusen look like the best team in Germany right now and it is shown from their incredible standing of 1st in the Bundesliga table.

Therefore, could Bayern Munich do the unthinkable by bringing back a club legend, luring him from his current exciting job at Bayer Leverkusen? Only time will tell but we can say one thing for sure - This is certainly an interesting story to follow along.
