Injuries strike again

Ahead of a big midweek Champions League game, it wouldn’t be a normal weekend for Bayern without at least one new injury to deal with.  Kingsley Coman tried to take the game to the opposition, albeit without much success, for roughly 50 minutes of play. Unfortunately for Coman and Bayern, just minutes into the second half the French international had to be replaced by Jamal Musiala after suffering an injury to his right adductor muscle.

The French forward is expected to be out for several weeks with the injury. With Serge Gnabry having pulled a hamstring in the first leg against Arsenal, and Leroy Sane still bothered by a pesky groin injury, Bayern will be short of attacking options on Wednesday.
