Friday marked the second day of competitive action during the international break, so let’s see how Bayern Munich’s players got on for their respective nations in their respective competitions.

Michael Olise was a starter on his debut for the France national team in their Nations League game against Italy, having received his first-ever call-up last month. The Bayern man played off the right in a 4-2-3-1 set up. He finished the game with 3/4 dribbles, and one shot on target, before being replaced after 58 minutes. Dayot Upamecano was an unused substitute, as France fell to a 3-1 defeat.

Next up for Olise, Upamecano and France, is another home game in the Nations League vs Belgium on Monday, 20:45 CEST kick-off, as they look to bounce back from this bitterly disappointing result.

Bayern Munich midfielder Konrad Laimer on target for Austria

Konrad Laimer scored the equaliser in Austria’s 1-1 draw away to Slovenia in the Nations League, cancelling out Benjamin Sesko’s opener. The Bayern midfielder was booked for a foul shortly after and played the 90 minutes. Next up for Laimer and Austria is a trip to Norway on Monday, 20:45 CEST kick-off.

Mathys Tel played 70 minutes as a central striker for France’s U21s Euro 2025 qualifier against Slovenia U21s before being replaced by Georginio Rutter. Bayern Munich summer target Désiré Doué scored the only goal for Les Blues in a 1-1 draw. Despite the draw, Euros qualification is still in France's hands.

Next up for Tel and France U21s is a home game against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Tuesday, 18:30 CEST kick-off.

Despite receiving his first call up to the Morocco national team, Adam Aznou was not included in the matchday squad, as his side thrashed Gabon 4-1 at home in an African Cup Of Nations qualifier. Aznou could make his debut for his country on Monday, when Morocco visit Lesotho in another qualifier, 20:00 CEST kick-off.
