Bayern Munich have reportedly reached an agreement on a number of vital contract terms with the agents of Xavi Simons as they look to complete the spectacular signing of the PSG star.

The new-look Bayern Munich roster is taking shape with those in charge planning to return to the top of the Bundesliga charts next season. The Bavarians are set to bolster their attack with the signing of Michael Olise, and are also eyeing a move for Xavi Simons. And their hopes of bringing the Dutch international to the club have now been boosted.

Sky Sport are claiming that Bayern Munich have now reached an agreement with the representatives of Xavi on a number of important personal terms, including the contract length and salary.

Talks with PSG are said to have reached the concrete stage, with Max Eberl determined to sign Xavi, having already brought him to RB Leipzig on a loan deal last summer. The French giants want to send the 21 year old out on loan again this summer, but could be persuaded into selling him if Bayern make a suitable offer.

RB Leipzig are also keen to extend Xavi's loan deal by another year, and it will be interesting to see what decision the player makes on his future.

Xavi Simons, who began his career at FC Barcelona, scored ten goals and assisted a further 15 in 43 appearances for RB Leipzig last season. Primarily an attacking midfielder, he is also capable of playing in the number eight role, out wide, or as the second striker.
