Best moment of the Season

It was Bayern’s first trophyless campaign in 12 years, so there was a shortage of good moments for the Bavarian faithful. However, the euphoria of the hard-fought win against Arsenal at Allianz Arena will be one to savor for fans from this season.

Bayern had announced the decision to part ways with Thomas Tuchel in February. The German coach was eager to end his tenure on a good note by helping the club go deep in the Champions League. The resurgence in Bayern’s form in the Champions League was notable in their convincing second-leg win against Lazio in the round of 16.

Die Roten carried this momentum in the quarter-final clash against Arsenal. After the hard-fought draw in London, Bayern came up with a quality performance at Allianz Arena to clinch a 1-0 win against Mikel Arteta’s team. Joshua Kimmich scored a thumping header in the second half after Die Roten dominated the North London side. 

The atmosphere at Allianz Arena was electric against Arsenal. Tuchel delivered a tactical masterclass, while Kimmich came up clutch after a disappointing campaign on a personal level. The Bavarian faithful will fondly remember this evening.
