Bayern need to involve Kane more in attacking moves during second leg

Kane continued his good run of form against Arsenal by seamlessly converting from the spot in the first half. The English forward’s trip to North London was successful, but Bayern didn’t get the most out of him on the pitch.

The 30-year-old forward was largely used as a target man by Bayern on Tuesday. Die Roten were bypassing the press from Arsenal by playing it long to Kane. Arsenal’s center-back duo made sure Kane hardly won the first and second balls whenever Bayern went long.

Despite not getting enough passes played to him, Kane worked tirelessly for the team. He also played some delightful diagonal passes when he managed to get a hold of the ball in the center of the park.

Kane had only two touches in the box against Arsenal. Bayern and Tuchel should look to make the most of his quality in the second leg. Considering the finishing prowess of Kane, the Bavarian faithful will hope to see more chances created for him when the two sides meet again at Allianz Arena. (Stats courtesy: Fotmob)
