After the signing of João Palhinha at Bayern Munich, Aleksandar Pavlovic will once again have to prove himself as part of a well-stacked midfield department.

Conclusion

With the midfield department being so well stacked, Pavlovic will not be an automatic pick in the starting XI at the start of the season. The problems he had with his tonsils that kept him out of Euro 2024 not only denied him the chance to prove his worth as the heir apparent to Toni Kroos for the national team but also set him back from cementing a starting spot with his club.

With this season carded to be longer than past ones because of the new format of both the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup, there should be ample opportunities for Pavlovic to shine. From the coach’s perspective, squad-rotation will be an important factor for the team.

For the sake of both club and country fans will be hoping that, for the 2024/25 season, Pavlovic would be able to build on what he achieved last season.
