Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović has commented on his stunning rise for both Bayern Munich and the Germany national team.

On the back of an incredible breakthrough season with Bayern Munich, Aleksandar Pavlović is set to represent Germany at the European Championship on home soil. The 20 year old made his national team debut earlier this month as he came off the bench in the warm-up match against Ukraine.

The last few months have been a dream come true for Pavlović, and he feels incredibly grateful for this opportunity. "It's incredible. The fact that I can now be here with the national team, play with the FC Bayern professionals and gain experience like I did in the Champions League semifinal against Real at the Bernabeu. I'm living my dream and I'm very grateful for everything," Pavlović said in an interview with Sky Sport.

Pavlović has spent his entire career so far at Bayern Munich, rising through the club’s youth team ranks before getting the chance to play for the first-team. He can imagine spending his entire career with the Bavarians, and is determined to give everything for the club. "I always wanted to make it at Bayern and not go anywhere else. My motto is always to give everything, fight, work hard and then everything will turn out the way it has to."

Aleksandar Pavlović made a total of 25 appearances for Bayern Munich in the recently concluded season, scoring two goals and assisting a further two. His exemplary performances also prompted Thomas Tuchel to start him in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid. He could now be in line for a new contract with Bayern, even though he only signed his first professional contract with the club last year.
