2. Robert Lewandowski (€45m)
That's right, sharing the honour of being the most expensive former Bayern Munich player in the club's history with Lucas Hernández is the Poland international and renowned goal-scoring beast Robert Lewandowski.
As one of the best strikers in the history of the game, Bayern Munich fans consider themselves blessed to have witnessed Robert Lewandowski on a weekly basis. Having also played for Borussia Dortmund, it is safe to say that Lew's legacy is mostly rested at Bayern Munich, being one of the greatest players the club has ever seen.
Eventually in 2022, though, the decision was made for Bayern Munich to sell Robert Lewnadowki to FC Barcelona. The Catalan club paid a €45m transfer fee to Bayern Munich which matched, but did not exceed, their previous record for the most expensive player sale at Bayern.
