Bayern Munich will undoubtedly have big plans to strengthen in the summer transfer window. They need to, given the sheer gap between them and Bayer Leverkusen this season. With the new head coach coming in to replace Thomas Tuchel, he will have plans to clear some dead-wood and sign some new superstars.

1. Matthijs de Ligt
It goes without saying that Matthijs de Ligt is an excellent defender who is capable of starting for most European teams. For Bayern Munich, though, he has become somewhat surplus to requirements. This is a compliment to the defensive excellence and depth which the Bavarians boast.
Between now and the end of the season, De Ligt must impress should he wish to keep his place under the new head coach. However, as time progresses and those above him in the hierarchy continue to impress, the signs are pointing more towards a sale, anyway. Perhaps moving away to secure game-time would be the best option.
