Substitutes

Joao Palhinha (8/10)

Hardly put a foot wrong the whole game. He won the most tackles (4) and the most duels (6) in the match. The Portuguese is set to finally get more game time as it seems Pavlovic will be sidelined for a while due to his injury.

Konrad Laimer (7/10)

Typical high-energy performance from Laimer. Was involved in a lot of attacking plays near the end of the match.

Kingsley Coman (7.5/10)

Wasn’t having the best cameo until the fourth goal. Skilfully created space and netted home with an unsavable shot past Alexander Nübel.

Leroy Sane (6/10)

Sane could’ve done better in the few attacking plays he was a part of after coming off the bench.

Leon Goretzka (NA)

The make-shift centre-back was brought on for Upamecano for the last 8 minutes of the game. He didn't have much to do as the game was already sealed by then.

Manager

Vincent Kompany (9/10)

A considerable amount of pressure was mounted on the coach after three poor results, but he finally delivered a big game win, and that too in some style. Bayern played their usual high-line attacking football but this time they achieved a resounding success in blocking opposition counterattacks. Stuttgart could only create chances worth a total of 0.40 xG in the whole game. The manager is set to face a more formidable challenge in FC Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday.
