Uncertain, but promising
Luis Diaz has all the ability and potential to succeed at Bayern Munich. Vincent Kompany will possibly hand him the key to the left flank and the choice to run the offense alongside Harry Kane and Michael Olise. If he can replicate what he has been doing at Liverpool, Bayern Munich may have hit the jackpot. But to further justify the €75m transfer fee, there is still a lot to improve on the defensive side.
The former Porto player is now 28 and soon will turn 29. He is possibly at the peak of his career. Diaz brings flair, experience, and tactical upside, but his success at Bayern will hinge on how quickly he adapts to Kompany’s pressing game and the Bundesliga’s rhythm. Will he pan out at the Allianz Arena? Only time will tell.
