How to watch Mainz 05 vs Bayern Munich online for free: Live stream, TV channels, start time

Bayern Munich will be in DFB-Pokal action on Wednesday evening and a tricky away game against Mainz 05 lies in store for them.
The DFB-Pokal is back this week and Bayern Munich will be determined to make light work of Mainz 05 at the MEWA Arena on Wednesday evening. The Bavarians have not won the DFB-Pokal since 2020, and Vincent Kompany will be determined to change that this year.
Mainz have struggled away from home this season, but the form book often goes out of the window in the DFB-Pokal. And the 05ers will look to pull off an upset, much like third division side FC Saarbrücken did at this stage of the competition last season.
Bayern will look to field a strong starting XI with the DFB-Pokal high on their list of priorities for this season. We could see the likes of Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Jamal Musiala in the starting XI once again. Although Kompany and co. still have a number of injury concerns in defense.
Mainz 05 will be without key player Jonathan Burkardt on Wednesday, with the Germany international sidelined due to injury. Bayern Munich loanee Armindo Sieb could start up front for Bo Henriksen's side.
