Nick Woltemade (Stuttgart) - Price: €30 million
Let's be real, this is pretty much a dream signing. Bayern is in desperate need of a Harry Kane backup. Jonah Kusi-Asare has not come of age yet. Mathys Tel's future at the Allianz Arena is also in question, and he is not much of a pure striker capable of leading the line.
Nick Woltemade is one of Germany's top striker talents. Standing at a grand 6 feet 5, he possesses a phenomenal physique for a striker. Despite the lengthy frame, Woltemade is extremely skillful and reliable with the ball at his feet, which earned him the nickname Woltemessi. For tape work, the hattrick against Spain U21 has shown every bit of his quality.
However, it is likely that Woltemade would not accept a diminished role at Bayern unless Vincent Kompany can guarantee him around 20 starts a season. Stuttgart would also make it difficult to sell their rising star. But the 23-year-old's rare talent is indubitably worth the price tag and the playing time.
Conclusion
The three transfers with a total of around €135 million. These three players can fix Bayern's over-reliance on Kane, Musiala, and Olise and make Vincent Kompany's offense more dynamic and unpredictable. Admittedly, Florian Wirtz is one generational talent. But three for less than the price of one works better for the situation at Bayern Munich at the moment.
In regards to the defense, Jonathan Tah's deal being confirmed adds valuable depth to the center-back department with Dayot Upamecano, Hiroki Ito, Josip Stanisic, and Kim Min-jae. Each position in the backline also has at least three possible personnel, pending departures.
Other Wildcard Signings: Christhian Mosquera (Valencia) - Price: approx. €40 million, Andrey Santos (Chelsea/Strasbourg) - Price: approx. €40 million
