They remain favourites to win the domestic titles and are one of the leading contenders for the UEFA Champions League.
The Bavarian club boasts a star-studded attack, which can cause problems for any team in the world. Michael Olise is one of their key men in the attack. The French international is one of the best wide players in Europe.
Olise has taken his game to the next level this season. He is enjoying a prolific start to the campaign, scoring eight goals across all competitions in the first one and a half months of the season. The French winger will get even better with time as he is yet to enter the peak of his career.
The 24-year-old winger is admired by his teammates for his hard work in training and his ability to create chances in the final third. While talking to Bild before the international break (via iMiaSanMia), Harry Kane heaped praise on Olise by saying that he has the right mentality to be one of the best in the World.

Olise finished last season with 22 goals and 31 assists across all competitions for Bayern. He helped the Bavarian club to retain the Bundesliga title and win the DFB Pokal. The French winger also delivered quality performances in the Champions League, but Bayern narrowly fell short at the semi-final stage.
Courtesy of his performances for Bayern last season, Olise is in the race to lift the prestigious Ballon d’Or later this year.
Along with his qualities on the pitch, Olise is a great team member. He works hard in and out of possession, setting high standards in the squad. Real Madrid were heavily linked with him in the summer, but Bayern have no plans to part ways with him anytime soon. They are hoping to extend his contract, which currently expires in 2029.
Olise shines for France during the international break
The good form at the club level has also translated into good performances for Olise during the international break. He provided the assist for France’s only goal against Turkey this week, helping the team clinch a 1-0 victory.
According to Stats Foot, Olise became the first player to deliver 9 assists for France in a calendar year since Raymond Kopa in 1958. The 24-year-old also delivered good performances at the World Cup in the summer. He is one of the first names on the team sheet for France.
