2) Villarreal

Villarreal are having a really good La Liga campaign, sitting in fourth place with 24 points from 12 games. Manager Marcelino also likes to play a 442 formation, and has often used split strikers with Nicolas Pépé and Ayoze Perez up front together.

When he hasn’t, though, he has played 6’4 French striker Thierno Barry up front. Like Welbeck, this could be great foil for Tel to play off of. Villarreal also like to play an attacking brand of football, with 34 big chances from their 12 games so far. Their 23 goals have only been bettered by Barcelona and Real Madrid.

As for goals, Barry has three goals in 710 La Liga minutes, whilst Perez already has seven goals in 517 minutes, demonstrating that Marcelino can get the best out of his forwards. Villarreal also have less depth than Brighton, so game time could come easier for Tel in Spain.
