DFB Pokal Predicted XI: How Bayern Munich may line-up against Bayer Leverkusen
Attack
RW, Michael Olise- Leroy Sane struggled against Dortmund despite making a positive start. The German winger has not scored or provided an assist since the end of October. Michael Olise is expected to replace Sane in the starting XI. The French winger looked promising against Dortmund and provided the assist for the equalizer.
ST, Thomas Muller- With Harry Kane expected to miss a few games due to a hamstring injury, Thomas Muller is expected to lead the line for Die Roten against Bayer Leverkusen. The German forward missed a big chance against Dortmund. Muller can certainly do a fine job in the number nine role. He will make the necessary runs to stretch the opposition’s backline, but finishing is not Muller’s biggest strength right now. The Bavarian faithful will hope Muller will have scoring boots on against Bayer Leverkusen.
LW, Kingsley Coman- On the left flank, Kingsley Coman is currently ahead of other wide players. Mathys Tel didn’t do enough to displace his compatriot after starting against Dortmund. The 28-year-old winger has the habit of scoring in big games, so Tuesday will be a good time to get back on the scoresheet.
