Midfield

DM, Joshua Kimmich- Bayern and Kompany will need Kimmich to step up again on Wednesday to make sure they return to Allianz Arena with a positive result. The German midfielder has been Mr. Consistent for the Belgian coach.

CM, Leon Goretzka- Aleksandar Pavlovic has done well for Bayern in the last few weeks, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Leon Goretzka start in a game where midfield has to be robust and physical. Goretzka has done well whenever Kompany calls him on this season.

AM, Jamal Musiala- Celtic will look to sit deep and give Bayern very limited space to work in the final third. Musiala will have a crucial role to play in the number ten position to break the opposition down. The young German has been very productive away from home this season, so there is a good chance of him getting on the scoresheet against Celtic.
