It is going to be a busy final week of the transfer window at Bayern Munich. However, there will be no incomings as the focus is on balancing the books by facilitating departures. The defending Bundesliga champions have already achieved success in finding clubs for Joao Palhinha and Bryan Zaragoza.

The Portuguese midfielder is expected to complete a move to Benfica on a permanent deal. He is already in Portugal to complete the formalities. Meanwhile, Zaragoza is going back to Spain to join Espanyol on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy.

The record Bundesliga champions are also close to completing the transfer of one of their promising young players. According to Sky Sports in Germany and transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Club Brugge are close to completing a move for Wisdom Mike from Bayern. The 17-year-old forward has already undergone a medical at the Belgian club.

Bayern will get a fixed fee of €5 million plus add-ons. The Bavarian club has also included a sell-on clause in the deal. Wisdom is expected to get an adequate amount of game time with Club Brugge. He will also gain exposure to playing Champions League football at the senior level.

Wisdom has been training with Bayern’s first team over the last 12 months. He made his competitive debut for Die Roten against Werder Bremen last September. The teenager made four appearances for Bayern's senior team.

The move to Club Brugge will be great for Wisdom’s development. He is unlikely to get meaningful game time at Bayern this season since Vincent Kompany is spoilt for options in the attack. A sell-on clause ensures Bayern have financially secured themselves in case Wisdom ends up getting a big- money move in the future.

Felipe Chavez attracting significant loan interest

After a productive pre-season with the senior team, Felipe Chavez is attracting interest from several clubs for a loan deal. According to Bild, Magdeburg, Braunschweig and Heidenheim are showing interest in keeping Chavez in Germany for a season. Meanwhile, Portuguese first-division club Estrela Amadora are also in the mix for the young forward.

Despite having a good pre-season, Chavez doesn’t have a place in the first team for this season. The youngster and Bayern believe a loan move away from Bavaria will help him to take the next step in his development.

Arijon Ibrahimovic had a good loan spell at FC Heidenheim last season, while Paul Wanner also got an ample amount of game time when he spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Heidenheim. It would be a good move for Bayern and Chavez if a loan move gets agreed with Heidenheim before the deadline day.
