Bayern Munich have built a good squad over the last couple of transfer windows. They have successfully brought down the average age of the squad by signing younger players. Along with signing good talent, Bayern have also successfully integrated young players from the academy into the first team.

Aleksandar Pavlovic is one of the biggest success stories for Bayern when it comes to integrating young players into the first team. The young midfielder has seamlessly adapted to senior football and established himself as a key player for the first team.

The ongoing season has been significant for Pavlovic as he has gotten consistent game time. He has become the first-choice midfielder for Vincent Kompany, pipping Leon Goretzka in the pecking order. Pavlovic has repaid the faith of Kompany by delivering consistent performances.

Pavlovic brings a lot of finesse and sharp passing when he has the ball. The 21-year-old also shows incredible intensity and passion out of possession. While talking to TZ this week, Pavlovic outlined his ambition to enjoy success at Bayern and stay in Bavaria for a long time.

"Absolutely. I don't know anything other than FC Bayern. If everything goes as we want it to, there's no reason to do anything else. I'm giving my all for these colors every single day and I will continue to do so. You can be sure of that."

Pavlovic enjoying added responsibility at Bayern

The 21-year-old German midfielder is in his third season at the senior level for Bayern. He is more of a senior player for academy graduates who are aiming to play for the first team. There is added pressure on Pavlovic, but he is enjoying this responsibility and wants to help the youngsters like Lennart Karl to settle in the first team.

Pavlovic also admitted that he wants to follow the footsteps of Manchester City midfielder Rodri to become a consistent midfield player at the top level. The Spanish midfielder won a Ballon d’Or for his consistent performances for Manchester City a couple of years ago.

It has been a productive season for Pavlovic. His performances have been excellent, at times outshining the world-class Joshua Kimmich in the center of the park. However, there is hard work left to do to ensure it is a successful season for him and Bayern. The Bavarian club is competing on all fronts. Pavlovic will have a big role to play if Die Roten want to win their third treble.

After the end of the season at the club level, Pavlovic will hope to shine for Germany at the World Cup in the summer. Barring any injury issues, Pavlovic will certainly be part of the World Cup squad for Germany.
