LW, Kingsley Coman- With Leroy Sane struggling for consistency, Kompany will likely go with Coman on the left flank. The French winger has done well under Kompany over the last couple of months. Coman needs a strong second half of the season to remain in Bayern’s long-term plans. A goal/assist against Hoffenheim will be the perfect way to begin Coman’s quest of cementing a place in the starting XI.
ST, Harry Kane- Bayern’s talisman returns to goalscoring duty against Gladbach. After enduring a frustrating spell on the sidelines in December due to injury, Kane found the back of the net on Saturday. The Bavarian faithful will hope that goal at Borussia Park will start another long goalscoring run for the prolific English forward. Considering how porous Hoffenheim’s defense has been this season, Kane should be the favourite to get on the scoresheet on Wednesday.
RW, Michael Olise- After enduring a dip in form midway through Hinrunde, Michael Olise has bounced back well in the last few games. Considering his performance against Gladbach and overall productivity this season, the French winger is a first-choice option for Kompany on the right flank.
