MIDFIELD

Jamal Musiala

After being rested during the past couple of weeks as a precautionary measure, Musiala will likely be available for the upcoming games. The 21-year-old is one of the best attacking midfielders on the planet and it’s pretty self-explanatory why he makes this combined XI.

Angelo Stiller

The 23-year-old central midfielder is the engine of Stuttgart’s possession-based style of play. His brilliant run of performances earned him his first start for the German national team against the Netherlands on 14th October.

Joshua Kimmich

Kimmich is back to his best playing in his preferred midfield position under the new manager. The 29-year-old Bayern stalwart is Kompany’s best creative outlet and has started in every single game so far.

Aleksandar Pavlović

Pavlović is the beating heart of Bayern’s midfield. The fact that the 20-year-old manages to start ahead of newly signed Joao Palhinha, who's himself one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe, goes to show how much trust Vincent Kompany has in the young midfielder’s qualities.
