Bayern Munich will take on VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga Topspiel on 19th October. In anticipation of that game, let's take a look at the fantasy combined XI of the two teams.

Note that the focus is on picking the best-performing players from each team and not how the hypothetical team will work together. Accordingly, the formation chosen is a 3-4-3. (Stats courtesy: Sofascore - Bayern and Stuttgart)

ATTACK

Harry Kane

Stuttgart’s striker duo Undav and Demirovic have been in spectacular form this season and would’ve been good shouts, but one just can’t ignore Harry Kane. Even after quiet performances against Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen, the English striker still has five goals and four assists to his name in this Bundesliga season. It’s only a matter of time before he springs back to form and the upcoming game against Stuttgart would be the perfect occasion for that.

Michael Olise

The 22-year-old French international has hit the ground running since joining Bayern in the summer. With four goals and two assists in six games (a goal involvement every 69 minutes), the winger has taken to the Bundesliga like a duck to water and has been a regular starter under new manager Vincent Kompany.

Enzo Millot

Stuttgart captain Atrakan Karazor recently called Enzo Millot “irreplaceable” and a player capable of bringing “a certain magic to our game”. The Frenchman has been in sublime form as he’s found the back of the net three times and assisted twice in the Bundesliga this season.
