Similar to Olise, Luiz Diaz continues to get better as the season progresses, and Sunday was no exception. Lucho was the main man for Bayern in the first half. Following a darting run down the inside left channel, he delivered a dangerous cross from which Fischer, while under pressure from Olise, scored the own goal to give Bayern the early lead.
After Wolfsburg’s 13th-minute equalizer, Olise picked out the run from Diaz into the box for the Colombian to head in Bayern’s second goal. In the second half, the duo combined again for the fourth goal when Diaz pressured a defender into another own goal at the end of a cross from Olise. Later on, Diaz then provided the assists to Kane and Olise for the sixth and seventh goals, respectively.
