Harry Kane

Harry Kane continued his amazing goal-scoring exploits with another brace. His first goal came from an incredibly acute angle. The odds might have favored the goalkeeper, but the in-form striker proved just the opposite with his precise finish into far corner. His second came at the end of a solo run during which three defenders failed to dispossess him.

What made the Englishman’s performance even more impressive was the fact that he was playing in the number ten role. Kane is such a complete attacking player that when he’s on his game he scores regardless of position.

As the number ten, he was everywhere on the pitch. Sometimes he dropped into the defensive half of the pitch to assist in build-up play. Other times, he was seen spraying long passes with perfect accuracy to launch a counterattack. With the game already in the bag, Kane was replaced just after the hour mark.
