Harry Kane
Harry Kane may not have earned the right to take home the match ball after the 5-1 victory, but apart from failing to convert a rebound in the first half, it was an otherwise well-rounded performance from the 32-year-old striker.
In the first half, Kane scored Bayern’s first two goals from the penalty spot. Towards the end of it, he turned provider when he led a counter with an excellent run from his own half. He eluded two defenders in the process before setting up Luis Diaz for the third goal.
In the second half, it took two smart saves from Oliver Baumann in the Hoffenheim goal to deny Kane from adding to his tally. With the score at 4-1, Kane was replaced by Nicolas Jackson after 68 minutes of action. Â
