Aleksandar Pavlovic
With so many impressive performers in the Bayern ranks, the third name on this list wasn’t an easy choice, but Aleksandar Pavlovic just gets the nod over Joshua Kimmich for scoring on his return to the starting lineup.
The midfield pivot of Kimmich and Pavlovic completely bossed the game, as evidenced by the 70% ball possession which the German Champions enjoyed.
Apart from scoring a goal, Pavlovic found a teammate with 96% of his passes (111/116). He also impressed out of possession with five recoveries. A yellow card in added time didn’t take away from an excellent all-round performance.
Honorable mentions go out to Serge Gnabry for getting Bayern off to a flyer and to Michael Olise, who ensured that the attack was never dull and provided the assist to Kane for the game’s final goal.
