Konrad Laimer
Konrad Laimer was once again his typical, relentless self on Saturday. In the third minute of play, he set up Serge Gnabry after a neat exchange with Michael Olise down the right flank.
Laimer, with 79 touches, was involved throughout the match both on offense and defense. On the defensive side, he won four of his six contested ground duels and two of three aerial duels and didn’t commit a single foul.
However, with Bayern enjoying the lion’s share of possession, the 28-year-old is one of Die Roten’s most effective players on offense. In the attack, he impressively created five chances and had also had five touches in the opponents’ box. Additionally, and quite amazingly, on two separate occasions, he was also seen leading the press on the Hamburg goalkeeper.
