Joshua Kimmich
After overcoming Bayern’s relatively slow start, Joshua Kimmich eventually began to dictate the tempo of the fast-paced game from the middle of the park.
On the attacking front, the 30-year-old midfielder delivered the seemingly perfect corner from which Harry Kane scored the third goal. Whilst his passing wasn’t quite as stellar as it usually is, Kimmich put in a solid shift with his work off the ball.
The German Captain won two of his three tackles, four of his six contested ground duels, and also his lone aerial duel. He also completed two recoveries and made two interceptions. From a game in which Bayern were pegged back early on, Kimmich found greater consistency as the game wore on, with a performance that was more effective than spectacular.
