Lucho’s toes were twinkling on Wednesday as he completed five of his seven dribble attempts. In the 84th minute at the end of one of those dribbling runs, he teed up Karl for the third goal. With 13 touches in the opposition’s box, he frequently had the Koln defense on the back foot.
As is typical of the 29-year-old Colombian, Diaz did his fair share of work off the ball by winning six of his ten contested ground duels and completing six recoveries.
