Kingsley Coman

Kingsley Coman delivered another solid performance on the left wing on Friday. Despite spending only 67 minutes on the pitch, the 29-year-old winger completed the highest number of dribbles amongst all players in the game (4).

In the first half, under pressure from a defender, Coman provided the assist to Harry Kane, with a tap back, for the aforementioned opening goal. Midway through the half he then found Olise with an excellent long ball off his weaker left foot. Surprisingly, Olise failed to round the keeper and consequently denied Coman a second assist.

Coman also won six of his ten contested ground duels and was excellent in carrying the ball from defense to offense when passing lanes were denied.

Honorable mentions go out to Joshua Kimmich for ensuring that Bayern had the lion’s share of possession by completing 93% of his 104 attempted passes, and also to Konrad Laimer for once again putting in a tireless shift up and down the right flank in support of Michael Olise.
