Kingsley Coman
The third name on this list wasn’t an easy choice. Kingsley Coman just edges out Joshua Kimmich who had another dominant game in the center of the park, despite the three goals that Bayern shipped.
Coman, similar to Kane, played just 58 minutes but was highly efficient during his time on the pitch. Coman had a foot, either directly or indirectly, in three of Bayern’s four goals. For his side’s second goal he reminded fans that all is not lost in the crossing aspect of the game when, from the left wing, he hung a cross towards the far post for Kane to head home. What was truly amazing about the 28-year-old French forward was the fact that he was perfect with all 32 of his passes on the evening; truly impressive. It was a feat that this writer had never experienced until today from a Bayern winger.
Honourable mention goes to Michael Olise who was stellar in the opening 30 minutes but did not return for the second half as a precautionary measure after suffering a knock in the first half. A shoutout also goes to his replacement- Serge Gnabry who put Bayern up 4-0 in the second half with a wonder-volley from his weaker left foot before the visitors almost pulled off an unbelievable comeback.
