Jonathan Tah

With the defense being put under the cosh for the majority of the first half, Jonathan Tah deserves credit for standing strong at both ends of the pitch.

With 14 defensive contributions including eight clearances and two blocked shots, Tah was by far Bayern’s most impactful defender. He also completed seven recoveries.

Tah was also extremely instrumental in build-up play as his 66 completed passes was the most from any player in the match. He also made his presence felt in attack when he displayed great strength, whilst being held by a defender, to get his head onto Olise’s corner to score the third goal.
