Michael Olise

Whilst the other members of Bayern’s attack were coming up short in the attacking third, Michael Olise enjoyed a touch of good fortune in scoring Bayern’s second goal, courtesy of an error from Wolfsburg’s keeper- Kamil Grabara. However, there was no luck involved when Olise picked out Goretzka, with a free kick, to head home Bayern’s decisive third goal.

Having started the match in the number ten role, apart from scoring and assisting, Olise also played the last 15 minutes on the right wing after Jamal Musiala made an appearance from the bench. The 23-year-old French international also put in his share of work out of possession as he managed to win five of his contested ground duels.
