Aleksandar Pavlovic

With Joshua Kimmich getting a rest on Saturday, Aleksandar Pavlovic rose to the occasion and superbly dictated proceedings in the middle of the park, which was key to the 72% ball possession in favor of the Bavarian giants.

The 21-year-old midfielder had 107 touches, completed 91% of his passes (86/94) and created four chances, including the assist to Harry Kane for his side’s fourth goal.

Pavlovic kept things ticking over in midfield for Bayern. The only thing missing from him on the evening was a goal to his name. From a defensive perspective, Pavlovic chipped in with two blocked shots and also completed five recoveries.

Honorable mention goes out to Dayot Upamecano for eventually sorting out the team’s early defensive woes and giving his team the lead through a smart finish early in the second half.
